4 Stud Styles to Rock
November 22nd, 2017 / Andria Rivers
Stud earrings are universally beloved for being comfortable and versatile. But these jewelry staples range from simple to statement. Ready to find your next favorite pair?
The Classics:
Round, Princess & Cushion Cut
Meet your go anywhere, do anything studs. These wardrobe staples are simple, but you can change their character by paying attention to settings. Basket settings are the simplest and most common, while filigree settings have scrolled metalwork that feels more dainty and feminine. Go big for a powerful look, or choose a smaller carat weight to add just a hint of sparkle any day of the week.

Out of the Box Essentials:
Radiant, Emerald, Asscher & Oval Cut
Classic style meets your personal taste. Oblong shapes and unique cuts add visual interest, but these beauties are still simple enough to go with any outfit, from work to play. Look for medium to large carat weights to make the most out of these fancy cut shapes. Show off a little!
Unique & Unexpected:
Marquise, Triangle & Pear Cut
These studs are simple, but the boldness of these fancy cuts makes them a little edgier and more modern. You can go for smaller carat weights here if you like a more petite look, because the sharp angles will make them pop. (Although we always prefer studs to be ½ carat or larger.)
Statement Makers:
Ara, Halo Collection, Gardenia
If you think studs have to be solitaires, think again. Big, bold studs make a statement, but they’re also comfortable enough to take you from day to night. Think halos—single or double, depending on your mood—and clusters. The Gardenia Cluster Studs or Ara Earrings are our two newest styles that take studs up a few notches.
