Royally Inspired Rings

Royal engagement rings are among the most photographed (and most imitated) styles. Every new royal engagement causes hearts to flutter over a new style of ring—and the latest three stone style is no different! We rounded up some of our favorite royal rings, and will show you how to get the look (no tiara required).
The newest royal three stone engagement ring has a Cushion cut center and two Round cut side stones. While a traditional style has three Round cut stones, we love how this design mixes up the silhouette with a more unusual cut.

Perhaps the most famous royal ring of all belonged first to Princess Diana, and now graces the finger of Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge. An Oval cut sapphire center stone surrounded by a starburst-like halo has become a classic engagement look, but you can make it your own by choosing a different shape or halo style.

When Grace Kelly became Princess Grace, her engagement ring became an instant classic. The simple Emerald cut ring with a center stone flanked by two baguette cut accents is still popular today, for its elegant style and timelessness. Choose a different center stone shape to personalize this look.

The Queen of England’s ring features a center stone with a cluster of accent stones on either side. She was given the tasteful ring in 1946 and has worn it ever since. (Fun fact: The Queen’s wedding band is made of Welsh gold, which is traditional for the royal family.)
