How to Clean Your Jewelry at Home

But hand lotions, natural oils on your skin, hair products and makeup can all make your ring or jewelry look dirty and dull. To keep it bright and shiny, you’ll want to clean it regularly—at least once a month or so.
What you need: A small bowl, warm water and gentle dish soap.
Combine the soap and warm water.
Soak your piece for 20-45 minutes.
Use a very soft (clean!) toothbrush to gently scrub in the nooks and crannies.
Plug your drain, then rinse your piece in clean warm water and let dry.

Spritz your ring in the solution or let it soak in a small bowl if it is very dirty.

Do not use abrasive cleaners like bleach and household cleaners, which can damage the metal.
