How to Stack Your Wedding Bands
July 10th, 2015 / Alese Oldenburg
A major wedding ring trend isn’t about the engagement ring; it’s all about the bands! Women are stacking multiple wedding bands of all cuts, settings and metal colors to take this trend to the next level. However, it is not as easy as just putting a band on top of another one. Take a look at our method of completing the perfect stacked matching wedding band & ring set.
ONE AT A TIME
Of course, start with your wedding band. If your ring doesn’t come with a matching band, don’t be afraid to play around with option of eternity bands, five-stone bands or solid bands.
STYLE SWITCH-UP
If your first band is bold and detailed, make your second band a little more delicate and sleek. Or, if your first band is a smaller carat weight, maybe add on another band that packs a bit more sparkle!
SPICE UP YOUR LIFE
Don’t be afraid to mix and match metal types. Yellow gold is making a big comeback and you can never go wrong with the ever so romantic, rose gold! You can stack this band along side the first two or balance out the bling by placing it on the other side of your engagement ring.
DON’T OVER DO IT
If you want to continue to add bands, keep them slender. It’s a great way to add just a little more sparkle or color without completely filling up your finger.
